Deep retrofit of detached house
Our client's aspiration was to transform their poorly performing detached home to one which is light filled, sustainable and energy efficient. Once we analysed our client's initial brief, we soon realised that additional floor area was not required, just a thorough reworking of the existing footprint. Through careful design and working with the site's orientation, light now penetrates deep into the floor plan.
