Extension, renovation & alterations to semi-detached house
The project involved taking a semi-detached house in Sutton with its original layout, giving it a full renovation, renewing the electrical, heating and plumbing systems; and a thermal upgrade improving it’s BER rating from an E to a B level. A new garden room was added to the rear with a mono-pitch roof opening up the interior of the house to the South sunlight for the first time, bringing lots of midday sun into the house and strengthening the connection with the back garden. A new utility space was added to the side of the house and the interior layout was redesigned to meet the needs of a modern growing family, with the original separate kitchen and dining rooms amalgamated and an en suite bathroom added upstairs.
